The Week that Was

Saturdays from 11am to 2pm

Every Saturday I feature musical artists whose birthday or anniversary of their death occurred during the last week. This helps me  play  wider range of music from the 20th century. 

Sometimes I start with a piece of classical music. During the first hour there’ll be  music from the 1930s/40s/50s.  There is nearly always some great jazz  and  often some blues.  A little bit of country and folk music usually appears as well. The latter part of the program showcases the popular music of the 1960s-1990s.
